Paralegal

Job Summary

We are looking for a Paralegal with hands-on experience in corporate and transactional legal matters. The role requires strong contract drafting and redlining skills, independent handling of MCA/ROC filings, and the ability to manage compliance activities and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and redline contracts independently.
• Handle MCA / ROC filings independently.
• Support corporate and transactional legal activities.
• Manage compliance calendars and deadlines.
• Support due diligence activities, including fundraising-related due diligence.
• Assist with global client contracts, particularly US/EU counterparties.
• Support legal and regulatory matters related to DPDP Act, GDPR, SEBI, and FEMA, as applicable.
• Maintain organised legal documentation and records.

Requirements

• LLB or LLM from a recognised institution.
• 2–4 years of corporate/transactional legal experience.
• Experience in a startup, VC-backed company, or fast-paced legal setup.
• Strong contract drafting and redlining experience.
• Independent experience handling MCA/ROC filings.
• Strong written English.
• Excellent organisational and deadline-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.

Good to Have

• Fundraising / Series A or Series B due diligence experience.
• Knowledge of DPDP Act and GDPR.
• Exposure to US/EU contracts.
• Basic knowledge of SEBI/FEMA regulations.
• Experience with DocuSign, contract lifecycle tools, Notion, or Jira.
