Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Panel Design and Estimation Engineer. The role involves designing electrical control panels and preparing detailed drawings, layouts, and schematics in line with project specifications and industry standards. The engineer will develop Bills of Materials(BOM), perform project cost estimation for panels and related systems, and coordinate with procurement to identify materials, components, and vendors. Daily tasks include reviewing technical documents, conducting site or project requirement studies, and collaborating with the sales, design, and execution teams to finalize optimal technical and commercial solutions. The role also includes participating in technical discussions with clients, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality norms throughout the design and estimation process.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in BOM preparation and project estimation for electrical panels and related systems.
  • Relevant diploma or bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering field.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical panel design, CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN), and interpretation of single-line diagrams and wiring schematics.
  • Familiarity with relevant electrical standards and codes, as well as basic project management and documentation practices.
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail, while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced industrial environment.
