Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Palantir Foundry Data Engineer with 4–10 years of experience in data engineering and hands-on expertise in Palantir Foundry. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in Python, PySpark, and SQL, along with experience building scalable data pipelines, troubleshooting data issues, and delivering high-quality data solutions using Foundry.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Palantir Foundry.
- Build and optimize data workflows using Pipeline Builder and Foundry Code Repositories.
- Develop data transformations using Python, PySpark, and SQL.
- Configure and manage Ontology, Data Connections, and Data Health Checks within Foundry.
- Perform data analysis and troubleshoot production issues using Contour and other Foundry analysis applications.
- Identify root causes of data issues and resolve them within defined SLAs.
- Design and implement efficient ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured datasets.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and engineering teams to deliver reliable data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and performance optimization across data pipelines.
- Support production deployments, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance.
Required Skills Mandatory
- 4–10 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, including:
- Pipeline Builder
- Code Repository
- Ontology
- Data Connections
- Data Health Checks
- Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT architecture.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving data issues using Contour and other Foundry analysis applications.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and Git-based version control.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
