Job Summary:
- Oxford's client within the chemical manufacturing industry is launching an enterprise-wide Palantir implementation and is seeking a Palantir Foundry Consultant to support implementation efforts alongside Palantir, internal stakeholders, and external vendors. Initial rollout efforts will focus on Finance and Supply Chain use cases before expanding across the broader organization.
- This individual will play a hands-on role in implementation execution while also providing solution design, operational alignment, and use case development. The consultant will help bridge business operations with technical delivery by translating business processes into Palantir workflows, supporting requirements gathering, and driving implementation activities.
Responsibilities:
Palantir Foundry Implementation
- Support the implementation and configuration of Palantir Foundry across initial business use cases within Finance and Supply Chain.
- Work closely with Palantir teams, implementation partners, internal IT teams, and business stakeholders to support solution delivery.
- Translate operational processes and business workflows into Palantir objects, ontologies, workflows, and use cases.
- Assist in solution design discussions and provide implementation recommendations and thought leadership.
Business Process & Requirements Analysis
- Document current-state and future-state workflows, business processes, and operating procedures.
- Gather, analyze, and refine business and functional requirements across business units.
- Define and document use cases, user stories, process flows, and implementation artifacts.
- Collaborate with SMEs to clarify requirements and align technical solutions with business objectives.
Program Coordination & Delivery Support
- Attend daily standups, sprint ceremonies, implementation meetings, and weekly governance sessions with Palantir and vendor teams.
- Track open actions, decisions, risks, dependencies, and implementation milestones.
- Follow up with business SMEs and technical teams to remove blockers and drive progress.
- Support implementation reporting and maintain project documentation.
Testing & Validation
- Develop test scenarios and support end-to-end validation activities.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with business users and technical teams.
- Log defects, track remediation efforts, and validate fixes.
- Ensure delivered solutions align with documented requirements and expected business outcomes.
Governance & Metrics
- Track project risks, dependencies, action items, and decision logs.
- Maintain implementation artifacts and governance documentation.
- Monitor implementation metrics and support reporting on delivery progress and adoption activities.
Experience:
- Experience supporting Palantir Foundry implementations or similar enterprise data transformation platforms.
- Strong understanding of Palantir Foundry concepts, including workflows, objects, ontologies, data pipelines, and operational use cases.
- Experience gathering requirements and translating business processes into technical solutions.
- Experience documenting workflows, use cases, process maps, and functional requirements.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work across business and technical teams.
- Experience supporting Agile delivery environments, standups, sprint activities, and implementation governance.
- Experience coordinating testing activities, UAT, defect tracking, and validation processes.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience supporting Finance and Supply Chain implementations or transformation initiatives.
- Experience in manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, industrial, or supply chain environments.
- Familiarity with enterprise systems and integrations including SAP, Azure environments, and enterprise data platforms.
- Understanding of operational process transformation and data-driven workflows.
- Previous consulting experience supporting enterprise implementations.
