PAINTING INSPECTOR

• General requirement • Experience in coating inspection • Knowledge of coating materials and application processes • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings • Understanding of safety procedures and regulations • Excellent communication skills • Attention to detail • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Check and blasting consumables and paints and make sure that it is as per the requirement. • Arrange the required training to Blaster and Painters. • Witness the Blotter testing. • Make sure that Blasting/Painting activities are carrying out as per the ITP. • Monitor and maintain the temperature record and make sure that atmospheric condition are suitable for blasting and coating prior to start the job. • Review Coating Procedure and the make sure that approved coating materials are using for each job prior to start the job. • Monitor and Controlling Surface preparation Blasting and Painting to ensure abrasive, surface profile, coating, environmental and Perform test such as Holiday test, Adhesion test whenever required • Blasting preparation and surface profile check the surface condition as per the requirement/blasting standard. • Review & verify all works completed successfully and ensure that Report/Record as Per Client Specification and procedure. • Controlling and Evaluating all the Quality Control activities during all the painting/Blasting activities • Control Calibration Interval, Calibration Status and In-House Calibration of Equipment • Review & compile all Blasting and Painting Record for Manufacturing Data Report (MDR) or Project Documentation for turn over document to Client. • Skills / Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering NACE /BGAS grade 2, ANSI, SSPC, ASTM, ISO, etc
