Painter/Polisher

Job Title: Polisher / Wooden Painter

Location: Sharjah, UAE

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform surface preparation, sanding, sealing, staining, painting, and polishing on wooden furniture and joinery items.
• Apply various finishes such as PU, NC, lacquer, stains, and paints to achieve luxury-quality surfaces.
• Match colors, grains, and shades accurately according to design specifications and sample references.
• Read and interpret finishing schedules, samples, and technical drawings for precise execution.
• Ensure flawless finishing quality with meticulous attention to detail at every stage of work.
• Inspect finished products to meet high craftsmanship standards.
• Collaborate with carpenters, supervisors, and designers to meet project requirements and client expectations.
• Maintain tools, spray guns, and polishing equipment in excellent working condition.
• Adhere to workplace safety standards and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements & Skills:

• Minimum 47 years of experience as a polisher or wooden painter, including at least 23 years in the UAE luxury furniture or fit-out industry.
• Strong knowledge of PU, NC, polyester, lacquer, stains, and decorative finishes.
• Ability to deliver consistent, high-quality finishes on luxury furniture and joinery items.
• Skilled in spray painting, hand polishing, touch-up work, and surface corrections.
• Familiarity with modern finishing materials, chemicals, and safety procedures.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to premium finishing standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical training or certification in polishing or painting.

Other Details:

• Salary: Will be discussed during the interview based on skills and experience.
• Overtime: As per UAE labor law.
• Working Hours: 9 hours per day.
• Working Days: 6 days per week (Sunday off).
