Role Overview
The Paid Media Manager (Social) will own planning, execution and optimization of paid social campaigns across platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, Snapchat, X (Twitter), YouTube and LinkedIn.
You will be responsible for delivering performance against client KPIs, managing budgets, collaborating with creative teams, and turning data into clear insights and next steps. This is a hands on role suited for someone who is equally comfortable inside Ads Managers and in client presentations.
You will work closely with our account leads and strategy teams in MENA and Europe, with regular overlap in working hours.
Key Responsibilities
1. Campaign Strategy and Planning
- Translate client briefs into clear paid social strategies and channel mixes
- Build full funnel media plans for awareness, consideration and conversion
- Define audience frameworks, targeting logic and segmentation
- Recommend budgets, pacing and flighting across platforms and formats
2. Campaign Setup and Execution
- Create and manage campaigns in Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, X, YouTube and LinkedIn ads managers
- Set up ad sets, audiences, placements and creatives according to best practices
- Implement pixels, conversion events and custom audiences with support from tech teams if needed
- Ensure correct UTM tagging and naming conventions for clean reporting
3. Optimization and Performance Management
- Monitor campaigns daily for delivery, pacing and performance against KPIs (CPC, CPM, CTR, CPA, ROAS, reach, frequency)
- Run structured A/B tests on audiences, creatives, formats, bids and landing pages
- Identify underperforming segments early and recommend clear corrective actions
- Scale winning campaigns while protecting efficiency and maintaining quality
4. Analytics and Reporting
- Create weekly and monthly performance reports with clear insights, not only numbers
- Connect platform performance to business outcomes such as leads, sales and revenue impact
- Use tools such as Google Analytics, platform reports and first party dashboards to validate results
- Present results and recommendations to internal teams and clients in a simple, non jargon way
5. Creative and Collaboration
- Work closely with creative teams to brief ad concepts based on platform insights and performance data
- Provide feedback on which formats, hooks, thumbnails and CTAs perform best
- Partner with account and strategy leads to develop bigger ideas, tests and learning roadmaps
- Collaborate with tech or data teams on tracking, attribution and advanced measurement where needed
6. Governance and Best Practices
- Keep up to date with platform changes, betas and new formats across social channels
- Maintain high standards in campaign structure, QA, brand safety and policy compliance
- Document playbooks, test results and learning libraries per client
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and training for junior team members
Required Skills and Experience
- 2 to 5 years of hands on experience in paid social media buying, preferably in an agency environment
- Proven track record of managing campaigns across at least three of the following platforms: Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, Snapchat, X (Twitter), YouTube & LinkedIn
- Strong understanding of performance metrics such as CPM, CPC, CTR, CPA, ROAS and how to improve them
- Experience with pixel and event setup, custom and lookalike audiences, and basic attribution concepts
- Comfortable working in spreadsheets and dashboards to analyze data and spot trends
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines in a remote setup
