The Opportunity

DAT is looking for a Paid Media Manager to join our Marketing team in Bengaluru.

Please note that this role must overlap with Pacific Time hours (IST +12:30) due to the highly collaborative nature of the job. Typical hours are 7:30 pm - 4:30 am IST (7:00 am - 4:00 pm PT).

DAT Software and Analytics is looking for a Paid Media Manager to join our incredible Marketing team in Bengaluru and expanded US-based marketing teams.

We're looking for a Paid Media Manager with a passion for everything digital marketing and a proven track record of success managing large-budget PPC programs across Google, Microsoft, Apple, and other platforms. Primary responsibilities include working with your US-based and India-based teams to provide PPC expertise, strategy, implementation, conversion and budget tracking, conversion rate optimization, landing page optimization, and reporting support for marketing campaigns across the company. The Paid Media Manager will report to the Senior Manager of Paid Media. This is a highly visible and impactful role, working closely with team members to deliver campaign, budget, and ROI reports to marketing leaders and campaign owners at all levels of the organization.

Candidate profile

  • Expert digital marketer with a proven track record of successfully managing large USD 6-figure per month PPC budgets, with expertise across Google, Microsoft, Apple, and paid social platforms.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a high degree of business acumen.
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong people leadership and management skills.
  • Experience working with global teams.
  • Proven ability in handling and prioritizing concurrent projects with attention to detail and accuracy.

What You'll Do

  • Closely collaborate with the Senior Manager of Paid Media, with paid media agencies, and your team to ensure that PPC strategies, campaigns, budgets, and KPIs are managed effectively across all platforms.
  • Manage your India-based team to ensure quarterly goals are met, and daily campaign management efforts are executed effectively.
  • Maintain and grow DAT's competitive advantage as the market leader in load board and trucking data analytics in the USA through ongoing competitive analysis, testing and optimization roadmaps, and more.
  • Ensure all PPC campaign budgets and KPIs are managed effectively, from campaign strategy and setup all the way through to landing page performance, CRO, and reporting.
  • Responsible for all PPC, paid social, and paid app ad platforms.
  • Own and manage Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Apple Search Ads, Meta Ads, and more.
  • Work closely with the US-based Marketing Analytics team to ensure data is flowing correctly from PPC and conversion tracking platforms and populating data correctly into Salesforce for campaign reporting.
  • Build close relationships with the website, demand generation, and product marketing teams to ensure you have a clear understanding of the context and why behind marketing campaigns and to be able to communicate campaign results more effectively.
  • Evaluate new machine learning and AI, campaign type, and platform opportunities to ensure DAT stays on the cutting edge of everything paid digital.
  • Creates and maintains Google and PowerPoint presentations and other reporting needs to provide market and campaign insights to other marketing and sales departments.

The Skills You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a similar discipline.
  • 5+ years of work experience with a US-based company managing large budget PPC programs, with a deep understanding of digital marketing, campaign, and budget management.
  • Deep expertise in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Apple Search Ads, and paid social platforms is required.
  • Experience with Datorama, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools is preferred.
