Role Overview
We are seeking an experiencedPacket Core Engineer with strong DNS expertiseto support the design, deployment, and operations of4G LTE EPC and 5G Core networks. The role will focus on maintaining high availability of packet core services and telecom DNS infrastructure supporting mobile data services and subscriber connectivity.
Key ResponsibilitiesPacket Core Operations
- Design, implement, and maintainLTE EPC and 5G Core network elements.
- Support and troubleshoot packet core components including:
- MME
- SGW
- PGW
- HSS
- PCRF
- AMF / SMF / UPF
- Supportnetwork upgrades, migrations, and integration activities.
DNS Management
- Configure and maintainDNS infrastructure supporting mobile packet core networks.
- Manage DNS zones, records, and caching for telecom services.
- SupportAPN resolution and service discoveryfor packet core functions.
- Troubleshoot DNS issues impactingsubscriber data sessions and roaming services.
Protocol Troubleshooting
- Analyse and troubleshoot telecom signalling protocols including:
- GTP (GTP-C / GTP-U)
- Diameter
- SCTP
- DNS
- HTTP/2 (5G Service-Based Architecture)
Monitoring & Incident Management
- Monitor network performance and availability using network monitoring tools.
- Participate inincident management and root cause analysis.
- Ensure high availability and performance of packet core services.
Required Skills
- Strong experience withLTE EPC and 5G Core architecture
- Hands-on experience withDNS in telecom environments
- Knowledge of3GPP standards
- Strong understanding ofIP networking and routing
- Experience troubleshootingmobile data and signalling protocols

Experience with telecom vendors such as:
