Role Overview
We are looking for a Packaging Project Manager / Project Lead to manage end-to-end packaging execution across new product launches, packaging updates, and operational workflows.
The role requires strong cross-functional coordination between the NPD, Design, Inventory, Procurement, Operations teams, and packaging vendors to ensure smooth execution, timely deliveries, and process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage packaging projects from development to production and launch.
- Coordinate between NPD, Design, Inventory, Procurement, Operations, and packaging vendors.
- Track timelines, approvals, artwork flow, sampling, and production status.
- Ensure packaging readiness aligns with production and launch schedules.
- Work with vendors on quotations, sampling, production timelines, and quality follow-ups.
- Create and maintain SOPs, trackers, workflows, and documentation systems for smoother cross-team coordination.
- Streamline processes for artwork approvals, packaging revisions, inventory requests, and production handovers.
- Support packaging quality checks and ensure compliance with brand and regulatory requirements.
Skills & Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in packaging project management, packaging operations, or packaging coordination.
- Experience in D2C, FMCG, wellness, beauty, or consumer brands preferred.
- Strong project management, vendor management, and coordination skills.
- Good understanding of packaging development and print production processes.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and project tracking tools.
- Track timelines, approvals, artwork flow, sampling, and production status.
- Experience working with flexible packaging, jars, cartons, labels, and corrugated packaging.
