Packaging Development Specialist

Job Summary:

• Develop and implement packaging solutions for new and existing products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging meets product, brand, and regulatory requirements
• In-depth knowledge in Rigid and flexible's
• Conduct market research, trend analysis, and competitor benchmarking
• Manage packaging design, testing, and validation processes
• Ensure compliance with packaging regulations, standards, and sustainability goals

Responsibilities:

• Packaging design and development
• Material sourcing and supplier management
• Cost optimization and budget management
• Collaboration with R&D, Marketing, and Manufacturing teams
• Packaging testing, validation, and certification
• Preparing documentation (specifications. SOP's and other records)
• Maintaining SAP documentation
• Artwork development
• KLD (Key line drawing) developments
• Taking trials like machine trial, transit trial and testing etc.
• Packing materials trouble shooting
• Co-ordination with TPU for packing material development & documentation
• Interacting with PM vendors for quality improvement & handling customer complaint
• Monitoring competition PM's and implementation
• Mentioning packaging project tracker
• Co-ordination with vendor and Marketing team for on-line approval

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and Diploma in Packaging development
• 5 to 6 years of experience in packaging development
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, design, and testing
• Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel for vendor visit and on-line approvals
