Build the Future of Food Manufacturing in Bengaluru, India!

We are seeking a Packaging Development & Commercialization Manager IMEA to lead end-to-end packaging development while anchoring the commercialization process for new product launches across India, Middle East, and Africa (IMEA).

Key Responsibilities

1. Packaging Development (Core Focus)

  • Lead design, development, and qualification of primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging
  • Translate marketing and consumer insights into functional, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions
  • Drive material selection, structural design, artwork, and tooling development
  • Lead packaging development for new product launches (NPD) and optimize existing packaging
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications, KLD diagrams, and packaging Blue Book standards
  • Define and implement testing protocols (transit, shelf-life, compatibility, sustainability)
  • Integrate sustainability initiatives (waste reduction, carbon footprint, material efficiency)
  • Evaluate and improve packaging machinery, OEE, and line efficiency
  • Develop vendor base for packaging materials, machines, and change parts

2. Commercialization Oversight

  • Anchor the end-to-end commercialization process for product launches
  • Define and track timelines, milestones, and cross-functional deliverables
  • Ensure packaging readiness (design, testing, approvals, supplier readiness) within timelines
  • Lead commercialization forums, identify risks, and drive resolution
  • Partner with manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain for smooth production ramp-up

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain
  • Ensure packaging specifications are aligned with product and operational requirements
  • Provide expertise in innovation and cost optimization initiatives

4. Supplier & Cost Management

  • Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships
  • Negotiate costs, lead times, and technical deliverables
  • Drive value engineering initiatives balancing cost, quality, and sustainability

5. Continuous Improvement

  • Benchmark against industry best practices
  • Implement KPIs (INQ, ENQ, CD, launch readiness, cost savings)
  • Drive initiatives to improve speed-to-market and reduce delays

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Packaging Technology or related field
  • 1015 years of experience in packaging development + commercialization
  • Strong knowledge of materials, sustainability, and regulatory standards
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end packaging lifecycle
