About the Role
We are looking for a skilled DTP Specialist / Packaging Designer to create, adapt, and finalize high-quality packaging artworks that reflect our brand identity and meet regulatory requirements. This role requires precision, creativity, and technical expertise to deliver exceptional print-ready designs for multiple SKUs across diverse packaging formats.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, adapt, and finalize packaging artworks based on brand guidelines and design briefs.
- Prepare print-ready files with accuracy in typography, colours, die lines, and finishes (varnish, embossing, foiling, etc.).
- Collaborate with graphic designers, brand managers, and packaging suppliers to ensure flawless execution.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and labelling standards across various markets.
- Work closely with printing vendors to resolve prepress and colour-related issues.
- Maintain consistency of brand identity across all packaging formats.
- Manage multiple projects within tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Stay updated on packaging trends, printing technologies, and DTP tools for continuous innovation.
Key Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience as a DTP Specialist / Packaging Designer in FMCG, wellness, or related industries.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and prepress workflows.
- Strong understanding of colour management, printing processes, die lines, and packaging substrates (cartons, labels, flexible packaging, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory guidelines for packaging (nutrition panels, barcodes, expiry, claims, etc.).
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to collaborate with creative and technical teams effectively.
