Summary:

As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to meet evolving business requirements. This role includes managing application features, overseeing release processes, and maintaining system stability. The engineer works closely with various teams to ensure solutions are aligned with organizational goals while preserving system compatibility and optimal performance. Daily activities also include utilizing standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to customize and enhance application functionality in a dynamic environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement application enhancements.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure continuous availability.
• Document configuration changes and maintain detailed records of system modifications.
• Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM).
• Strong understanding of IT service management processes and workflows.
• Experience with configuring and customizing SaaS applications using APIs and low-code platforms.
• Ability to analyze system performance metrics and implement improvements.
• Familiarity with release management and change control procedures.
