Summary:

In the role of a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role requires managing software releases carefully to maintain system stability and performance. Throughout the day, the engineer utilizes standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to implement solutions that align with organizational goals while ensuring compatibility across various systems. Collaboration with different teams to troubleshoot and optimize application functionality is also a key part of daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team to enhance productivity and quality.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring to support the growth and development of junior team members.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP ABAP Object Oriented Development.
• Strong understanding of SAP HANA database concepts and in-memory computing.
• Experience in developing and optimizing SAP ABAP programs for performance and scalability.
• Familiarity with integration techniques using APIs and standard SAP interfaces.
• Ability to work with low-code platforms to extend and customize packaged applications.
  
  

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
• This position is based at our HDC4 - SEZ location.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
