Summary:
As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to meet evolving business requirements. This role includes managing software releases, ensuring the stability and performance of systems, and adapting features to align with organizational needs. The engineer collaborates with various teams to maintain compatibility across platforms while utilizing standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver effective solutions. Continuous monitoring and fine-tuning of applications are integral to maintaining seamless operations and user satisfaction.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to optimize application configurations to enhance system efficiency and user experience.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of application updates with business objectives.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices to foster professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition.
- Strong experience in application configuration and release management within packaged or cloud-based environments.
- Familiarity with standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms for application customization.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues to maintain application stability and performance.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Knowledge of software lifecycle management and deployment processes.
