Summary:
As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing application releases and ensuring the overall stability of the system. Throughout the day, the engineer utilizes standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility and optimal performance. Collaboration with various stakeholders to address system needs and continuous monitoring to prevent disruptions are also key aspects of daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement application enhancements.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
- Document configuration changes and maintain knowledge base articles for future reference.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).
- Strong understanding of IT service management processes and workflows.
- Experience with configuring and customizing ServiceNow modules to meet business needs.
- Ability to work with APIs and integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with low-code/no-code development platforms to streamline application modifications.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure system stability and performance.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
