Summary:
As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing software releases, ensuring the stability and reliability of systems, and utilizing standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that maintain compatibility and optimal performance. Collaboration with various stakeholders to align technical solutions with organizational goals is an integral part of daily activities, ensuring seamless operation and continuous improvement of the applications.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become a subject matter expert.
- Required active participation and contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement application enhancements.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain system reliability.
- Document configuration changes and maintain up-to-date knowledge bases for reference.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on application functionalities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Murex Connectivity 2.0.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Murex Back Office Workflows.
- Strong understanding of application configuration and support within packaged or SaaS environments.
- Familiarity with using APIs and low-code platforms to customize and extend application capabilities.
- Ability to manage software release cycles and ensure system stability during updates.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to maintain optimal application performance.
Additional Information:
