Summary:

As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing application releases and maintaining system stability to ensure seamless operations. The engineer works with various tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while ensuring compatibility and optimal performance across systems. Collaboration with different teams to address challenges and enhance application functionality is also a key part of the daily routine.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement application enhancements.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability.
• Document configuration changes and maintain knowledge base for future reference.
• Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow ITOM Discovery.
• Strong understanding of IT operations management and discovery processes.
• Experience with integration of ServiceNow modules using APIs and web services.
• Ability to work with low-code platforms to customize and extend application capabilities.
• Familiarity with release management and change control processes within SaaS environments.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving complex application issues to ensure system reliability.
  
  

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow ITOM Discovery.
• This position is based at our BDC14A - STPI location.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
