As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The engineer works with various standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to ensure that solutions are well aligned with organizational needs while maintaining compatibility across systems. Collaboration with different teams to monitor and optimize application functionality is also a key part of daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement application enhancements.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure continuous availability.
- Document configuration changes and maintain detailed records of system modifications.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BTP Integration Suite.
- Experience with integration of cloud-based applications and APIs.
- Strong understanding of low-code/no-code platforms and their application in enterprise environments.
- Ability to manage software release cycles and ensure system stability.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting and resolving integration issues in complex systems.
