As an SAP SLT Consultant, you will lead the implementation, configuration, and management of SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT) systems to enable real-time data replication into SAP S/4HANA. You will ensure data quality, system performance, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- SLT System Implementation and Configuration: Lead the setup, installation, and configuration of SAP SLT systems, including defining and maintaining system connections and communication channels with source systems.
- Data Replication: Design and configure data replication processes using SLT technology to ensure accurate, real-time replication from SAP ERP, non-SAP databases, and external systems to SAP S/4HANA.
- Data Mapping and Transformation: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements, perform data mapping, and define transformation rules to align source data with target SAP S/4HANA structures.
- Data Quality and Integrity: Monitor replicated data for quality and consistency, perform validation, and resolve data replication errors or conflicts.
- System Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Monitor SLT system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement enhancements to optimize throughput and availability.
- Change Management and Support: Support system upgrades, enhancements, and migrations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Documentation and Training: Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration guides, and standard operating procedures; provide training to technical and functional teams.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Engage with data owners, system administrators, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment, communicate best practices, and support effective data replication strategies.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Preferred Education:
- Master's Degree in a relevant field
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
- 3 to 5 years of experience as an SAP SLT Consultant working with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ERP systems
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP SLT setup, configuration, monitoring, and replication
- Proficient in data replication setup, data modeling, transformation, and mapping
- Experience with data replication from SAP ERP, non-SAP databases, or external systems
- Knowledge of data integration techniques, validation, error handling, and data quality management
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA data structures, data models, and migration processes
- Project management skills for prioritizing tasks and delivering results within deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve replication issues
- SAP SLT certification or relevant SAP certifications are highly desirable
