Package Specialist - SAP EIM

Role Overview As a Package Specialist in SAP Enterprise Information Management (EIM), you will manage end-to-end data conversion activities for full-lifecycle SAP implementation projects. Operating full-time on-site in Pune, you will design, develop, and execute data migration programs using SAP BODS, SQL, and S/4HANA migration tools across key SAP functional modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Migration Execution: Write technical specifications, manage field mapping from legacy systems to SAP, and load master/transactional data using SAP BODS, BAPIs, IDocs, and the S/4HANA Migration Cockpit.
• Defect Resolution & Validation: Generate data validation reports, troubleshoot conversion errors, and partner with project leads to resolve complex data defects.
• Cross-Functional Scope: Deliver data conversion programs across SAP FICO, MM/WM, SD, LE, HR/HCM, PP, PM, and SuccessFactors.
• Process Optimization: Drive automation across conversion scripts and support critical project freeze/blackout periods and Go-Live events.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 5 to 7+ years of IT experience with proven hands-on involvement in SAP implementation and data conversion projects.
• Core Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SAP BODS development, advanced SQL programming, and core ETL methodologies with SAP S/4HANA as the target system.
• Integration Expertise: Hands-on experience with data loading via BAPIs, IDocs, and exposure to the S/4HANA Data Migration Cockpit.
• Functional Understanding: Solid knowledge of SAP master and transactional data objects to effectively debug conversion errors.
• Communication: High confidence in independent object handling and direct client communication.
