Package Consultant - SAP IS Banking

Role Overview

As a Package Consultant for SAP IS Banking, you will play a key role in designing, configuring, and deploying financial architecture solutions, with a deep focus on SAP Bank Analyzer (sAFI) and Financial Products Subledger (FPSL). Operating full-time on-site in Chennai/Bangalore, you will bridge analytical banking models with operational core banking systems, ensuring seamless general ledger integration, accurate financial accounting, and robust system performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Module Configuration & Design: Extensively design, customize, configure, and test the SAP Bank Analyzer (sAFI) and SAP FPSL modules.
• Accounting & Integration: Manage FI/CO module integrations, including General Ledger (G/L) integration, cost center/profit center accounting, accounting derivations, coding blocks, and validation/substitution rules.
• Architecture & Data Structuring: Define master data, flow data, subledger coding blocks, charts of accounts, and Result Data Layer (RDL) structures to connect analytical banking with operational banking environments.
• Testing & Execution: Prepare and execute comprehensive Functional Unit Testing (FUT) and System Integration Testing (SIT) to ensure end-to-end data accuracy and system stability.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience in SAP Bank Analyzer and SAP Financial Products Subledger (FPSL).
• Architecture & Landscape: Deep technical understanding of the SAP Bank Analyzer landscape, accounting process models, and core architecture.
• Core Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with RDL structuring, subledger accounting, G/L connections, and integration between operational banking systems and analytical modules.
• Functional Scope: Solid proficiency across core SAP FI/CO configurations and processes.
