P1-Solidworks Engineer

Creation of 3D modeling & detailing using the latest version of Solidworks / Creo is a key responsibility in this Engineering role at Quest Global. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in utilizing these software programs to create accurate and detailed models.

In addition to 3D modeling, the selected candidate will also be responsible for creating fabrication models and drawings. This involves translating design concepts into practical models that can be used for manufacturing purposes.

Another important aspect of this role is the creation of PMI models and Drawings (MBD). The candidate will need to have a thorough understanding of Product Manufacturing Information (PMI) and be able to accurately represent this information in the models and drawings.

Strong manufacturing drawings creation and drawing reading skills are essential for success in this role. The candidate will be expected to create detailed manufacturing drawings that adhere to industry standards and can be easily interpreted by production teams.

Lastly, the selected candidate will be responsible for conducting technical reviews of deliverables. This involves carefully examining the models, drawings, and other deliverables to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards.

• Primary qualification in Mechanical Engineering / BE - Mechanical
• 2-4 years of experience in CAD modeling and detailing using the latest version of Solidworks / Creo
• Proficiency in creating fabrication models and drawings.
• Expertise in utilizing the PMI environment and generating PMI models and Drawings (MBD).
• Extensive knowledge of manufacturing drawings creation and drawing interpretation skills.
• Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance - ASME Y14.5
• Understanding of industry codes and standards
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Keen attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written communication abilities.
