Role Description As the Owner at StudentMitra RGUKTN, you will provide strategic leadership, define the vision, and oversee all operations to ensure the organization continues to empower students effectively. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Srikakulam, requiring close collaboration with core team members, volunteers, faculty, and external partners. You will design and approve annual and semester-based activity plans, including workshops, seminars, cultural events, competitions, and personality development sessions, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission. Daily responsibilities include supervising program planning, reviewing proposals, managing budgets, and monitoring event execution and impact. You will also build and maintain partnerships with speakers, sponsors, and educational institutions, guide marketing and social media outreach, mentor student leaders, and ensure that all activities are inclusive, ethical, and compliant with institutional guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Strong leadership, people management, and decision-making skills, with the ability to guide diverse teams and student volunteers.
  • Experience in event planning, program coordination, and operational oversight, preferably in educational, cultural, or student-focused organizations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with students, faculty, sponsors, and guest speakers.
  • Strategic thinking and organizational skills, including budgeting, resource allocation, and long-term planning.
  • Familiarity with outreach and engagement through social media and digital platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter) is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work on-site in Srikakulam, with flexibility to manage events during evenings or weekends when required.
  • Background in education, student affairs, entrepreneurship, or a related field is preferred; prior experience leading student initiatives is a plus.
  • Commitment to student development, inclusivity, and the mission of unlocking creativity and hidden talents in learners.
