Role Description The Owner role at Postworks Media Services is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune District, responsible for overseeing the overall operations, strategy, and growth of the business. The person in this role manages client relationships, leads project planning, and ensures that media services are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality. Daily responsibilities include supervising production and post-production workflows, coordinating with creative and technical collaborators, and making decisions related to resource allocation and financial performance. The Owner also drives business development by identifying new opportunities, negotiating contracts, and maintaining a strong presence in the local media and creative community. This role involves setting organizational goals, mentoring team members or freelancers, and ensuring compliance with relevant legal, financial, and safety requirements.
Qualifications

• Business management and leadership skills, including experience overseeing operations, budgets, and strategic planning.
• Strong client relationship and communication abilities, with a focus on negotiation, stakeholder management, and customer service.
• Working knowledge of media production and post-production processes, such as video editing, sound design, and visual storytelling.
• Basic financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and understanding of invoices, contracts, and vendor management.
• Organizational and time management skills to coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work on-site in the Pune District, with flexibility to collaborate with local partners, clients, and suppliers.
• Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and decision-making skills in a creative or service-oriented business.
• Prior experience in media, advertising, film, design, or a related field is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Media, Communications, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
