Role Description

This is a full-time, virtual role for an Overseas Dispatcher, located in Oakland, CA. The position involves coordinating the scheduling and dispatching of drivers and trucks for container drayage and freight transport, ensuring the efficient movement of goods. The role also requires maintaining communication with drivers, customers, and team members to update statuses, resolve issues, and optimize delivery strategies. The Overseas Dispatcher will be responsible for billing and invoicing. The Overseas Dispatcher will also be monitoring load assignments, compliance with regulations, and maintaining precise documentation associated with shipments.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling, logistics coordination, and route planning
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with drivers, customers, and internal teams
• English Fluency
• Familiarity with transportation management systems
• Experience with Emodal
• Previous experience in dispatching or logistics operations is strongly preferred
• Ability to work effectively within a team and meet deadlines consistently
