Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Overseas Admission Counsellor to guide and support students aspiring to study abroad. The candidate will be responsible for counselling prospective students, managing the end-to-end admission process for international universities, and ensuring a high conversion rate of enquiries into successful admissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel students and parents regarding overseas education opportunities, including course selection, universities, and countries
- Provide detailed information about admission requirements, eligibility criteria, and application procedures for international institutions
- Handle student enquiries through calls, emails, and walk-ins and convert leads into admissions
- Assist students in shortlisting universities and programs based on their academic profile, interests, and career goals
- Guide students through the complete application process, including documentation, SOPs, and application submission
- Coordinate with international universities and internal teams to ensure smooth processing of applications
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions in the CRM system
- Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets
- Stay updated with the latest visa regulations, admission policies, and study abroad trends
- Participate in education fairs, webinars, and promotional activities to generate student leads
Required Skills & Qualification:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in admission counselling, preferably in EdTech or overseas education consulting
- Strong knowledge of international education systems ( UK, Dubai, Europe, etc.)
- Excellent communication, counselling, and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding admission targets
- Ability to build trust and maintain relationships with students and parents
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office
