We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 68 years of post-qualification experience to lead overseas accounting operations within our Shared Services Center in Kolkata. This role requires expertise in accounting principles, international reporting standards, and project management. The incumbent will manage end-to-end accounting activities for multiple overseas entities, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, while driving strategic initiatives and special projects.

Responsibilities
- Manage overseas accounting operations: GL, AP, AR, intercompany, and fixed assets.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings & reporting.
- Review compliance with local GAAPs and statutory requirements across jurisdictions.
- Coordinate with local finance teams, auditors, tax consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Lead finance-related projects: ERP implementations, transitions, automation, and system enhancements.
- Drive special tasks and cross-functional initiatives from senior management.
- Design and implement internal controls, SOPs, and process documentation.
- Develop and monitor KPIs and SLAs for service delivery.
- Mentor junior team members and provide leadership within shared services.
- Ensure adherence to internal control frameworks and company policies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 68 years of post-qualification experience.
- Proven track record in project management and process improvement.
- Strong knowledge of international accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with cross-cultural teams in a matrix structure.
Preferred Attributes
- Prior experience in shared services or multinational environments (trading/commodity sector preferred).
- Exposure to commodity processing and large-scale expansion projects.
- Hands-on experience in process transitions and standardization.
- Project management certifications (PMP/Prince2) are a plus.
- Strong leadership, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work across multiple time zones when required (e.g., audits).
