About the show
We are launching a podcast featuring entrepreneurs, founders, and high-performers conversations where talent meets business.
We're scaling our guest pipeline and need someone who can turn a researched guests into booked, recorded, and published episodes by focusing on outreaching guests through whatsapp and email.
What you'll do
Build the guest pipeline
• Work with the producer to research and shortlist the right guests for upcoming episodes.
• Source contacts and run sequences — find verified phone numbers and emails for shortlisted guests in Apollo, and run targeted outreach sequences through it.
Outreach & follow-up
• Write highly personalized emails to each prospect — no copy-paste templates; real reasons they'd want to come on the show.
• Get on the phone and WhatsApp — this is the heart of the role. Email opens the door, but calling and WhatsApp are what actually land the yes, so you'll be doing both, every day.
• Follow up relentlessly across email, WhatsApp, and phone until you get a clear yes or no — and keep volume high, because the pipeline only works if outreach never stops.
Close, schedule & record
• Lock the interview — confirm the guest, coordinate the recording date, and handle all guest logistics.
• Coordinate the recording with the producer and make the guest's experience smooth from invite to wrap.
Close the loop & nurture
• Thank every guest — once the episode is live, send them the link with a personal thank-you.
• Keep relationships warm so strong guests can return every 5–6 months or once a year.
Own the CRM & the numbers
• Live in the CRM — log every contact, conversation, and stage so the whole pipeline is visible and nothing falls through.
• Know your rates cold — track outreach, response, and conversion. Aim for at least a 10–15% conversion on outreach, with 30% being an exceptional result.
• Be okay with failure — most people will say no, and that's the job. A salesy mindset and a thick skin matter more here than anything else.
What you bring
• Up to 3 years experience in sales, outreach, business development, or partnerships — freshers with real hustle welcome.
• Excellent communication skills — confident, warm, and persuasive on calls, WhatsApp, and email.
• A genuine salesy mindset — numbers-driven and thick-skinned; you aim for a 10–15%+ conversion and the no's don't deflate you.
• Comfortable leading with phone and WhatsApp — you'll call and chase, not hide behind email.
• Organised under volume — you can run many conversations at once in the CRM without dropping anyone.
Nice to have
• Interest in business, founders, and India's growth story (the show's themes).
• Experience with CRM or prospecting tools (Apollo or similar).
• Exposure to podcasts, media, or events.
First 90 days, success looks like
• A full pipeline of researched, contactable guests at all times.
• Consistent personalized outreach at volume, with response rates you're tracking and improving.
• First episodes booked and recorded — and a re-invite list starting to build.
