Job Description
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of enhancements in OTM 6.4.1 and OTM SaaS 25B environments.
- Provide hands-on support for production issues, including root cause analysis and resolution.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Assist in Development and maintenance of integrations between OTM and custom TMS systems using web services, REST/SOAP APIs, and other middleware tools.
- Configure OTM modules including Order Management, Shipment Planning, Execution, and Freight Settlement.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Coordinate with Oracle support for issue resolution and product updates.
- Document technical solutions, configurations, and support procedures.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across OTM-related initiatives.
What you'll need to excel:
At a minimum, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), including both on-prem and SaaS versions.
- Strong understanding of OTM architecture, data model, and configuration.
- Experience with OTM 6.4.1and OTM SaaS 25B
- Proficiency in PL/SQL, XSLT, and OTM automation agents required. Familiarity with Java will be useful.
- Hands-on experience with integration technologies(REST/SOAP APIs, BPEL, middleware platforms).
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal guidance.
It'd be great if you also have:
- Experience with custom TMS systems and logistics domain knowledge.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Certification in Oracle OTM or related technologies.
- Experience in logistics and/or transportation management, business analysis and customer relations
