We are seeking an experienced OT Technician specializing in Ophthalmology to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist ophthalmologists in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Prepare and maintain ophthalmic surgical instruments and equipment.
- Ensure a sterile environment in the operation theatre before, during, and after procedures.
- Monitor patient vitals and provide support during surgeries.
- Assist in patient preparation and post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Operation Theatre Technology or relevant field.
- 1-5 years of experience in an ophthalmology or surgical setting.
- Knowledge of ophthalmic surgical procedures and instruments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of sterilization techniques and infection control protocols.
