Description
- Qualification: Diploma in Operation Theatre, Diploma in OT technician, BSc Operation Theater Technology, BVoc Operation Theatre Technology (OTT)
- GNM, BSc Nursing, ANM, Having OT Experience.
- Prepare and maintain operation theatre before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nurses during operations by providing required instruments.
- Sterilize, arrange, and check surgical instruments and equipment before procedures.
- Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Monitor and maintain OT equipment, including lights, suction, cautery, and anesthesia machines.
- Support patient preparation and positioning for surgery under medical supervision.
- Maintain records of OT consumables, instruments, and sterilization logs.
- Assist in handling surgical specimens and ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Coordinate with surgical and nursing staff for smooth functioning of OT schedules.
