OT Engineer – Factory Switches & Factory Firewalls

We are seeking an experienced OT Engineer specializing in Factory Switches and Factory Firewalls to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, managing, and securing our factory network infrastructure, ensuring operational efficiency and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and manage factory switches and firewalls to ensure secure and efficient network operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and enhance network infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues related to factory switches and firewalls.
• Implement security policies and best practices to safeguard the factory network from cyber threats.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of network devices to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Provide technical support and training to other team members on network security protocols and configurations.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on factory switches and firewalls.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, VLAN, STP, etc.) and firewall technologies (Cisco, Fortinet, etc.).
• Experience with network monitoring tools and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent in network security are highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
