Main Duties & Scope of the role

We're looking for a data‑driven and creative SEO & GEO Strategist to support StudyIn's organic discovery across its digital properties. This role goes beyond traditional SEO: you'll build strategies that ensure StudyIn surfaces prominently in both Google search results and AI‑generated answers from ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Copilot and other generative engines.

You'll be responsible for executing a unified SEO + GEO strategy across multiple domains and landing pages – leveraging content optimisation, programmatic SEO, structured data, entity authority, and AI‑assisted workflows. Success will be measured by tangible performance outcomes: sustained growth in organic traffic, higher visibility in generative search engines, and increased qualified leads.

This role requires a deep understanding of how both search engines and large language models (LLM's) discover, evaluate, and surface content, and the ability to work through cross‑collaboration with marketing and internal teams to deliver measurable growth.

Key Responsibilities

● Lead the development of SEO and GEO strategies that align with StudyIn's goals and brand voice

● Conduct keyword research, intent mapping, and localisation for landing pages and blogs

● Optimise content for generative engines through structured data, entity authority and citation‑worthy assets

● Ensure StudyIn is accurately represented in AI knowledge graphs and training data pipelines

● Monitor and track brand mentions and citations across AI answer engines; build a GEO performance tracking framework

● Create content that is citation‑worthy: original research, data‑driven insights, expert quotes, and

structured comparisons that LLMs prefer to reference

● Optimise for zero‑click and AI‑overview SERP features (featured snippets, People Also Ask, AI

Overviews)

● Lead content syndication initiatives to secure placements with high‑authority sites, expert round‑ups, and industry publications.

● Monitor performance data, competitor activity and digital trends to refine strategies and identify

opportunities for growth

● Drive measurable outcomes by improving organic traffic, increasing visibility in generative search

engines, and generating qualified leads

About the Candidate (including required competencies)

We are looking for a search professional who is both a strategic thinker and a hands‑on executor. You should be comfortable working across SEO and GEO, building frameworks that make campaigns effective. You thrive on clarity, optimisation and analysis, and you know how to turn business objectives into organic growth that performs across both search engines and AI platforms.

Requirements & Qualification

● 5-7 years of hands‑on SEO experience with proven success in growing organic traffic

● Deep knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and recent Google updates (Helpful Content Update, AI Overviews, March Core Updates, etc.)

● Proficient in GA4, Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs, and similar tools

● Strong understanding of structured data (JSON‑LD, schema.org) and its role in both SEO and GEO

● Experience with LLM tools for content ideation, production, and optimisation

● Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights from data and communicate them clearly
