About CodeAnt AI
We're building a complete offensive and defensive security platform. Backed by Y Combinator, Entrepreneur First, and Uncorrelated Ventures. Used by Fortune 500s and government agencies to ship secure, high-quality code at scale.
We've shipped 100+ CVEs in 2026. We rank #1 in critical PR detection benchmarks. Our security research has affected 1.85B+ monthly downloads.
But here's the problem. The next decade of search isn't Google. It's ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Google AI Mode. When buyers ask what's the best AI code review tool or best pen testing platform for startups, AI assistants answer them. And right now, we're not always the answer.
You're going to fix that.
Why this role exists
Traditional SEO is half the game in 2026. The other half is AEO and GEO. Getting cited by LLMs when buyers (and their AI assistants) ask the questions that define our category.
LLMs cite Reddit threads. They cite comparison posts on Medium and dev.to. They cite GitHub discussions. They cite authoritative LinkedIn posts. They cite us when we're already part of the conversation in the right places.
Your job is to make us part of every conversation worth winning.
What you'll own
- AEO/GEO ranking. Own visibility across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Google AI Mode. Track citation rates for the queries that matter, like best AI code review tool, best SAST scanner, alternatives to SonarQube/Snyk/Checkmarx, best pen testing platform. Move them month over month.
- Reddit. The single biggest AEO input right now. r/cybersecurity, r/devops, r/programming, r/netsec, r/devsecops, r/SaaS. You know which subreddits matter, which ones nuke marketing, and how to build presence without getting banned.
- Comparison content and third-party authority. Get CodeAnt cited on the comparison pages, listicles, and authority sites that LLMs pull from. G2, Reddit threads, Medium posts, dev.to articles, Hacker News submissions.
- LinkedIn and X as ranking inputs. Not for engagement. For citation. Founder voice, technical posts, hot takes, built to be referenced.
- Distribution writing. You write the Reddit posts, LinkedIn copy, X threads, comparison post pitches. Platform-native voice for every surface.
- Citation tracking and reporting. You report monthly on AEO citation rates, Reddit presence, comparison page coverage. You know what's working, what's not, and what to ship next.
- Channel expansion. When a new platform becomes a ranking input (Bluesky, dev.to, Lobsters, whatever's next), you crack it.
Who you are
- 3+ years building organic growth for a B2B SaaS, devtools, or technical product.
- You've personally cracked Reddit for B2B without getting your accounts banned. Profile and post history prove it.
- You've cracked at least one more channel. LinkedIn, X, HN, dev.to, Medium, GitHub-as-distribution.
- Portfolio is mandatory. Links to your Reddit username, LinkedIn, X handle, anywhere you've built organic presence. No portfolio, no application.
- You understand AEO/GEO at an operator level. Not just make content for LLMs, but how citation actually works, which third-party signals LLMs weight, and how Reddit/Quora/comparison pages drive LLM answers.
- You read AEO data the way an SEO reads SERPs. You can tell us which queries we rank for, where we don't, and what it would take to move the needle.
- You write tight. Reddit posts that don't read like marketing. LinkedIn posts that earn citations. X threads that get reshared.
- You think in citations, not impressions. A 200-view Reddit post that gets cited by ChatGPT every time someone asks about our category is worth more than a 10K-view LinkedIn post that disappears.
- Bias to ship. You'd rather post a 70% piece today than a 95% piece next week.
What you won't do
- Write original blog posts or technical research (the content team handles that)
- Run paid amplification (the Growth Marketing Manager handles that)
- Touch on-page SEO articles (separate workstream)
This is a pure organic growth role focused on AEO/GEO outcomes. Stay in your lane and crush it.
