Required skills -

  • 4 - 8 years of Workday Configuration and Integration experience, with a focus on Order to Cash / Finance Operations
  • Strong understanding of Workday Financials, Business process Framework, calculated fields, and reporting tools (EIB, Studio, REST/SOAP, XML/XSLT, Power Automate, Python)
  • Hands on experience in Reporting Analysis, or financial modules
  • Exposure to integrations will be an added advantage
  • Excellent analytics, documentation, and communication skills

Preferred -

  • Experience in global/multi-country financial setup and reporting integrations
  • Workday Pro Certifications - Finance or related modules

Key Responsibilities

Workday Data Extraction (RaaS) - OTC Focus

  • Design, configure, and maintain Workday RaaS reports focused on OTC processes (e.g., customers, contracts, revenue, invoices, payments, adjustments, aging, write offs).
  • Partner with Finance, Business, Billing, and Collections teams to understand Order To Cash data structures and reporting needs.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot RaaS reports and integrations feeding OTC analytics.

Data Engineering & Transformation (Databricks)

  • Ingest Workday RaaS outputs into Databricks.
  • Build and maintain reusable ETL pipelines in Databricks using Python and SQL to transform raw OTC data into ready models.
  • Join and reconcile Workday data with other relevant sources to create enriched reporting.
  • Implement data quality checks, reconciliation logic, and exception reporting.
  • Optimize pipelines and queries for performance, cost, and reliability.

Analytics & Reporting (Tableau & Excel) - OTC KPIs

  • Design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards and workbooks that provide clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Develop Excel reports and models needed for detailed analysis, scenario modeling, or operational users.
  • Provide standardized and ad hoc reporting to support OTC and real time reporting
  • Apply visualization best practices to ensure reports are intuitive and support quick decision-making.

Automation & Push Email Reporting

  • Configure and manage Tableau Server subscriptions and other automated distribution methods for recurring OTC reports.
  • Develop scripts and workflows (Python/SQL/Databricks jobs) to automatically refresh datasets and distribute reports via email to defined OTC stakeholder groups.
  • Monitor scheduled jobs and report deliveries, quickly resolving failures and data issues and communicating impacts to stakeholders.
  • Partner with leadership to define appropriate cadences, audiences, and alert thresholds for automated reporting.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Governance

  • Work closely with OTC process owners, Finance, and Business Operations to capture requirements and translate them into robust data models and reports.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Workday OTC data and the downstream reporting environment.
  • Document OTC data flows, data definitions, business rules, and dashboard logic maintain a clear OTC reporting catalog.
  • Help drive consistent definitions for OTC KPIs and promote data and reporting standards across regions and business units.
