We are looking for a detail-oriented Order Processing & Operations Analyst (Remote) to support our client's order management and fulfillment operations. This role is responsible for accurate order entry, tracking, and coordination across multiple systems including Excel, SPS Commerce, ERP tools, and freight carrier portals. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently in a US-shift environment.

Key Responsibilities

Order Entry & Processing

  • Enter and process customer orders from multiple sources including EDI, email, portals, and spreadsheets.
  • Monitor and manage orders in SPS Commerce, including acknowledgments, changes, and exceptions.
  • Validate UPCs / GTINs to ensure accuracy across customer orders, ERP, and EDI systems.
  • Confirm pricing, quantities, pack configurations, ship dates, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Maintain order accuracy across systems to support smooth fulfillment and invoicing.

Systems & Tools Management

  • Use Excel to track orders, shortages, allocations, and fulfillment status.
  • Monitor shipment progress using carrier portals such as UPS, FedEx, and LTL freight systems.
  • Cross-check order data between SPS, ERP, and tracking systems to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support updates to item data, case packs, and shipping details as required.

Customer Communication

  • Communicate order confirmations, shipment updates, delays, and changes to customers.
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to order status, shipping, and delivery timelines.
  • Proactively identify potential service issues and coordinate resolutions with customers and internal teams.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Logistics, and 3PL teams to resolve order-related issues.
  • Coordinate shipping timelines and documentation with fulfillment partners.
  • Support new customer or SKU setup by ensuring accurate data flow across systems.

Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Maintain internal order trackers and basic operational reports.
  • Identify recurring order or shipping issues and suggest process improvements.
  • Assist in documenting and improving SOPs related to order processing workflows.

Candidate Requirements

  • 25 years of experience in order entry, order processing, or operations support roles.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel (tracking, filtering, basic formulas).
  • Experience working with multiple systems such as SPS Commerce, EDI platforms, ERP tools, or order portals but not mandatory
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously.
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Skills but not Mandatory

  • Experience with SPS Commerce or EDI-based ordering systems.
  • Familiarity with UPS, FedEx, or LTL freight tracking platforms.
  • Experience supporting retail, wholesale, or CPG customers.
  • Basic understanding of logistics, shipping, and fulfillment workflows.

Work Details

  • Shift: US Central Time (CST).
  • Work Mode: Remote / Work From Home.
