Job Description
Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service
Experience of managing multiple RDBMS on large systems
Hands-on experience on RAC and Goldengate
Good to have knowledge on oracle engineered systems
Hands-on experience on Physical standby,switchover,Failover
Monitor database performance, implement changes .
Plan and implement ongoing monthly and quarterly maintenance activities including patching cycles, upgrade cycles, security and auditing cycles
Hardening on Databases
Hands-on experience of database backup, recovery, duplicate
Communicate clearly in coordinating with infra IT teams to troubleshoot issues, or to perform builds, deployments.
