Job Description
An Oracle Workforce Scheduling Functional Consultant/Lead designs, implements, and optimizes intelligent, cloud-based scheduling systems within Oracle Cloud HCM to balance labor demand with employee availability. They ensure compliance with labor regulations, configure self-service, and align staffing with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Implementation: Lead the configuration of Oracle Workforce Scheduling, creating shift libraries, work patterns, and scheduling templates.
- System Optimization: Analyze business processes to improve efficiency, such as automating shift swapping, managing employee self-scheduling, and reducing manual scheduling efforts.
- Compliance & Rules Management: Configure rules for labor laws, union regulations, seniority, fatigue management, and required certifications.
- Integration: Ensure seamless integration between Oracle Workforce Scheduling and other HCM modules (Absence Management, Time and Labor) to maintain accurate staffing data.
- Support & Training: Conduct workshops and user training sessions; create documentation for system configurations and business processes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with operational managers to define staffing requirements, handle workload forecasting, and manage team hierarchies.
Required Skills
- Oracle HCM Expertise: Deep knowledge of Oracle Cloud HCM Workforce Management and Scheduling modules.
- Functional Knowledge: Strong understanding of labor laws, shift scheduling, and workforce analytics.
- Implementation Experience: Proven experience in full-cycle implementations.
