Role Overview
Senior Oracle OTM Techno-functional Consultant with 710 years of implementation experience, responsible for configuration, integration, testing, rollout, and ongoing enhancement of OTM solutions for global supply chain or logistics environments.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Should handle full lifecycle OTM implementations, upgrades, and on-premises to cloud migrationsincluding requirements gathering, solution design, build, testing, and go-live support.
- Configure and customize key OTM modules (Order Management, Planning, Execution, Visibility, Freight Payment, Settlement) per business needs.
- Having Fleet management and demurrage module experience is a plus.
- Integrate OTM with Oracle cloud ERP, rate engines, and third-party logistics systems using middleware (e.g., OIC, SOA Suite) or API
- Should be well versed in agents, user configurations and rate configurations.
- Conduct unit/integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and user training workshops.
- Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and enhancement of OTM and related interfaces.
- Document configuration, test scenarios, and training materials for stakeholders and users.
- Mentor junior consultants and coordinate across global project teams.
Required Skills:
- 615years of hands-on experience in Oracle Transportation Management implementations (Cloud and On-Premise).
- Experience in at least one end-to-end OTM Cloud implementation.
- Good logistics domain knowledgeideally in automotive, manufacturing, retail, or third-party logistics sectors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies is required.
- Experience with system integrations (ERP, external rate engines, visibility platforms like Fourkites/P44) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Global Trade Management (GTM) is a plus.
Typical Tasks and Deliverables
- Configure and test OTM modules and business agents.
- Support integration and migration efforts (like On-Prem to Cloud).
- Maintain solution compliance and optimize existing workflows.
- Offer post-go-live support and enhancements.
