POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS : Job Summary

The Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Specialist is responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting OTM solutions to optimize transportation planning, execution, and logistics operations. The role works closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to ensure seamless transportation processes and continuous improvement aligned with organizational goals.

This aligns with typical OTM responsibilities such as configuration, integration, troubleshooting, and user training. Key Responsibilities

1. OTM Solution Design & Configuration

- Design and configure OTM modules including Order Management, Shipment Management, Rate Management, and Business Process Automation.

- Develop custom OTM solutions using SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle development tools.

- Translate business requirements into scalable OTM configurations and workflows.

2. Implementation & Integration

- Lead or support OTM implementation projects across multiple business units.

- Integrate OTM with ERP, WMS, and external carrier systems using APIs, web services, and middleware.- Support migration activities, including data mapping, cleansing, and validation.
