Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Plan to Manufacture (PTM) – Developer with strong expertise as an Oracle E‑Business Suite (EBS) SCM PL/SQL Developer, specializing in data conversion and migration from EBS to Oracle Fusion SCM.

The ideal candidate will have deep hands‑on experience in PL/SQL development, legacy data conversions, and Oracle EBS SCM data models, combined with a solid functional understanding of Plan to Manufacture (PTM) processes. This role is critical to ensuring accurate, performant, and validated data migration as part of Oracle Fusion transformation programs.

The role works closely with SCM functional consultants, Fusion functional teams, data migration leads, and business stakeholders to deliver high‑quality conversion outcomes.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

  • Design, develop, and execute PL/SQL‑based data conversion programs to support EBS to Oracle Fusion SCM migration, including:
  • Data extraction from Oracle E‑Business Suite
  • Data transformation and cleansing
  • Loading data into Fusion staging or interface layers
  • Support Plan to Manufacture (PTM)–related SCM modules, including:
  • Inventory
  • Bills of Material (BOM)
  • Routings
  • Work in Process (WIP)
  • Manufacturing and Supply Chain Planning
  • Analyze and interpret Oracle EBS SCM data models, setups, and dependencies to ensure accurate data mapping to Fusion
  • Work closely with SCM functional teams to:
  • Understand business rules, setup dependencies, and master/transactional data
  • Translate functional conversion requirements into technical specifications
  • Validate migrated data through reconciliation and business sign‑off
  • Develop and maintain:
  • PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and validation scripts
  • Conversion and reconciliation reports
  • Error handling and restart mechanisms for conversion cycles
  • Support mock conversions, SIT, UAT, dress rehearsals, and production cutover activities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues, performance bottlenecks, and data integrity exceptions
  • Ensure adherence to data governance, auditability, and migration best practices
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, data mapping specifications, and conversion run books

Skills:

Required

  • Strong PL/SQL development expertise in Oracle E‑Business Suite SCM
  • Hands‑on experience with EBS to Fusion data conversion or migration projects
  • Solid functional understanding of Plan to Manufacture (PTM) processes
  • In‑depth knowledge of Oracle EBS SCM modules, including:
  • Inventory
  • BOM / Routings
  • WIP
  • Planning
  • Experience working with large data volumes and complex data relationships
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with functional and technical migration teams

Good to Have

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion SCM interfaces and data loading mechanisms
  • Exposure to Oracle Integration tools or File‑Based Data Import (FBDI)
  • UNIX shell scripting for batch execution and automation

Experience:

  • 6–10+ years of experience as an Oracle EBS SCM PL/SQL Developer
  • Proven experience supporting EBS to Oracle Fusion SCM migration or upgrade initiatives
  • Strong exposure to manufacturing and supply chain business domains

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
