JOB SUMMARY
Sr. Oracle Technical consultant (with OIC) is responsible for working closely with the Oracle ERP Functional & Technical team to successfully manage the designing, customizing, implementing, development, support, testing using Oracle tools and technologies and preparing technical documentation.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead end-to-end technical design and delivery in Oracle EBS and OIC environments
- Responsible for providing day-to-day technical assistance to ERP operations from technical perspective
- Design and develop RICEW components: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows
- Build and manage OIC integrations, connections, adapters (ERP, REST, SOAP, FTP, etc.) and work on Event-driven and real-time integrations.
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide hands-on technical and development support for implemented Oracle ERP modules and integrations in OIC to Oracle ERP.
- Gather and document business requirements on IT incidents and change work.
- Document and manage technical specifications and software packages.
- Manage on-time changes delivery and business expectations and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide hands-on analysis, design, testing, implementation, and post-implementation support utilizing prescribed software design lifecycle techniques and system documentation techniques (AIMS/OUM).
- Complete development tasks based on requirements submitted by business partners and follow oracle best practices.
- Troubleshoot process issues and provide remedial actions, whether functional or technical in nature, liaising with Oracle where required
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- 8+ years of experience on Oracle Applications and OIC integrations
- Experience building integration, unit testing and migration of integration components in OIC using REST/SOAP Services
- Strong programming experience in creating Procedures, APIs, Packages, Functions, Triggers, views, collections nested tables and arrays, records, sequences, views, Constraints and other database objects using SQL and PL/SQL
- Hands-On development of packages and functions using SQL/PLSQL and exposing them as REST
- Strong knowledge of Oracle development tools, some e-Business application functionality, system administration, database structure and knowledge of multi-Org architecture.
