Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Oracle APEX. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle databases, PL/SQL, and modern web technologies, along with a solid understanding of enterprise application development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using Oracle APEX
- Design and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions
- Work with Oracle Database for data modeling and performance tuning
- Build dynamic, responsive UI components using APEX, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Integrate APEX applications with REST APIs and external systems
- Troubleshoot and debug application issues, ensuring high performance
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements
- Ensure security, scalability, and best practices in development
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 512 years of experience in Oracle development
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle APEX
- Proficiency in PL/SQL and SQL optimization
- Experience with Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS)
- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git, SVN, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Oracle Cloud (OCI)
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Exposure to integration tools and APIs
- Understanding of security best practices in APEX
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
