Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Oracle SCM Consultant with a strong background

in Oracle EBS R12.2.6 and hands-on knowledge of customizations and extensions.

The ideal candidate will have around 4 years of experience working in the

manufacturing domain, with a solid understanding of supply chain processes,

inventory management, Process Manufacturing (preferably)and order fulfilment.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement, configure, and support Oracle SCM modules including:

o Inventory (INV)

o Purchasing (PO)

o Order Management (OM)

o Oracle Process Manufacturing

o Bill of Materials (BOM)

o Costing (CST) (specific to precious metals/stones)

Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders in the

manufacturing and retail process.

o Interfaces with weighing machines, barcode/RFID systems, or other

third-party apps

Work on data conversions, inbound/outbound interfaces, Request sets and

report development.

Manage unit testing, integration testing, and UAT with business users.

Prepare detailed functional documentation (MD050).

Support enhancements, patches, and upgrades in R12.2.6 environment.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing and

finance.

Required Skills & Experience:

4+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle SCM modules (functional).

Strong experience in Oracle EBS R12.2.6 environment.

Proven track record of developing and supporting customizations (RICEW).

Familiarity with manufacturing industry processes like:

o Item tracking by weight and Qty

o Tagging, barcoding, stock valuation

o Consignment inventory handling

o Custom pricing and order workflows

Experience integrating with external POS and weighing scales

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Oracle certification in SCM or Technical Track (a plus).

Familiarity with GST/VAT/local taxation for retail/inventory transactions (Oracle

Financials for India – OFI ).

Experience with APEX, or Web ADI is a plus.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and interface with business stakeholders.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Experience working in an Agile or hybrid delivery environment.
