Job Description

Job Title: Oracle SCM Functional Consultant

Work Mode: Remote

Work Timing: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. IST

Experience Required: 8–10 Years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business analysis, requirements gathering, and scope definition with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Translate business objectives into functional requirements and refine them into technical action items.
  • Configure Oracle SCM applications (Inventory, PDM, Demand & Supply Planning, Shipping, Transportation Management).
  • Conduct functional analysis, application gap analysis, and prepare design documentation (use cases, scope docs, business process mapping, functional designs).
  • Support business users by clarifying requirements for project teams and developers.
  • Validate feasibility of user requests against system capabilities and data structures.
  • Provide expert data analysis using SQL queries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure security and compliance with company policies for confidential information.
  • Research, recommend, and implement innovative SCM technology solutions.
  • Lead or mentor functional/technical teams as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8–10 years of experience as an Oracle Applications Consultant or System Analyst/Manager.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle ERP Application functionality.
  • Deep knowledge of:
  • Inventory Management
  • Product Data Management (PDM)
  • Demand & Supply Planning
  • Shipping & Transportation Management
  • Hands-on experience with 2–3 full lifecycle implementations (Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, Demand & Supply Planning).
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and Oracle Cloud framework.
  • Proficiency in SQL queries and SDLC methodologies.
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in managing or leading teams is a plus.
