Oracle SCM Functional Consultant

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Oracle SCM Functional Consultant with 7+ years of Oracle Supply Chain Management experience and strong functional expertise in Oracle Inventory Management, Oracle Procurement, and Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM.

The consultant will be responsible for understanding business requirements, configuring Oracle SCM solutions, supporting implementation and enhancement projects, conducting testing, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of end-to-end Supply Chain and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, with hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM implementation, rollout, enhancement, or production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as a functional consultant on Oracle SCM implementation, enhancement, and production support projects.
• Provide functional expertise across Oracle Inventory Management and Procurement.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into Oracle SCM functional solutions.
• Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend appropriate Oracle Cloud solutions.
• Configure Oracle SCM modules based on business and project requirements.
• Work on end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Inventory business processes.
• Participate in solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for integrations and customizations.
• Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production validation.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with business users, technical teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Support data migration, master-data validation, reconciliation, and data-quality activities.
• Participate in business workshops, process walkthroughs, and user-training sessions.
• Prepare functional documentation, process flows, test scenarios, configuration documents, and user guides.

Mandatory Functional Skills – Oracle Inventory

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Inventory Management.
• Experience configuring Inventory Organizations and Subinventories.
• Strong understanding of Item Master and Inventory Master Data.
• Experience with inventory transactions and material movements.
• Knowledge of receiving and inventory processes.
• Experience with Lot and Serial Control.
• Understanding of inventory transfers and adjustments.
• Knowledge of inventory valuation and reconciliation concepts.
• Understanding of Inventory integration with Procurement and other SCM modules.

Mandatory Functional Skills – Oracle Procurement

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Procurement / Purchasing.
• Excellent understanding of the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process.

Mandatory – Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM.
• Experience working on Oracle Cloud SCM implementation, rollout, enhancement, or support projects.
• Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud SCM navigation, configuration, setup, and functional processes.
• Experience working with Oracle Cloud business process flows.
• Exposure to Oracle Cloud integrations and interfaces.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud testing, deployment, and production-support activities.

Additional Skills

• Strong understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain Management processes.
• Exposure to integration with:

• Other Oracle SCM modules
• Knowledge of OTBI and BI Publisher is an advantage.
• Exposure to FBDI is desirable.
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and Oracle Cloud integration mechanisms is a plus.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with business and technical teams.

Experience & Qualifications

• 7+ years of overall Oracle SCM Functional experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Inventory and Procurement.
• Significant experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM.
• Experience in both implementation and production-support environments is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Oracle SCM or Oracle Cloud certification is an added advantage.
