Job Description: Oracle SAS
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle SAS Developer/Analyst to join our data analytics and reporting team. The ideal candidate will have experience in integrating SAS with Oracle databases and developing complex data pipelines and reports to support business intelligence and decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SAS programs to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from Oracle databases.
- Design and implement efficient SQL queries and stored procedures in Oracle.
- Create SAS datasets and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform data validation, quality checks, and performance tuning of SAS and Oracle processes.
- Collaborate with data architects, DBAs, and BI analysts to ensure end-to-end data pipeline integrity.
- Document technical processes, job flows, and data dictionaries.
- Participate in production support and troubleshooting of SAS jobs and Oracle database performance issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience with SAS programming (Base SAS, SAS/SQL, SAS Macros).
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Proficiency in working with large datasets, data warehousing, and relational databases.
- Experience with SAS tools like SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Data Integration Studio is a plus.
- Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
