Key Responsibilities

OCI Migration & Infrastructure Management

• Lead migration of ORMB and Oracle Database 19c from Solaris to OCI.
• Design and implement OCI infrastructure including VCN, Subnets, Compute, Storage, Networking, and Service Gateways.
• Ensure architecture aligns with best practices for scalability, performance, and security.

Oracle Middleware Administration

• Manage Oracle Fusion Middleware applications including RMB, OSB, SOA, MFT, PEGA.
• Deploy and maintain applications (WAR, JAR, EAR) in standalone and clustered environments.
• Configure JDBC data sources, connection pools, JMS resources, and troubleshoot related issues.

Operations & Production Support

• Handle backup, recovery, patching, cloning, upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues using logs, JVM dumps, and thread dumps.
• Provide production support, incident management, and root cause analysis.

Automation & Scripting

• Develop automation scripts using UNIX Shell, WLST, Perl, iRule scripting.
• Automate system administration tasks and routine maintenance.

Security & Compliance

• Implement encryption, access control, auditing, and SSL configurations.
• Ensure compliance with OCI security best practices.
• Manage F5 load balancer configurations and security certificates.

Performance & DR Management

• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and DR strategy execution.
• Conduct annual DR testing and system sanity checks.
• Work with performance testing teams during UAT.

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with Dev, Network, Unix, and Security teams.
• Coordinate with Oracle support and raise SR/TAR for issue resolution.
• Support application lifecycle management and production changes.
